We are located in Hartola, which is 25 km from Mukteshwar and 50 km from Nainital and Bhimtal. The closest larger place is Nathuakhan, which is 10 km away.

Road

At the present time the preferred mode of travel to Hartola is by personal car. We are 350 km/8.5 hours from Delhi. The typical route is:

Delhi - Hapur - Moradabad. After Moradabad, there are 2 main options: 

1. Via Kaladhungi: 2 further options, we prefer the one via Nainital/Nainital Byepass

2. Via Rampur/Kathgodam

With any of the above options you will reach Bhowali, then Ramgarh, Nathuakhan and finally Hartola.

Train

If you prefer to come by train, you can come till Kathgodam by either the erstwhile Ranikhet Express (arriving at Kathogdam at 5 AM) or the Shatabdi (arriving at Kathgodam at 1130 AM). From there it is about 2.5 hours by car/taxi; plenty of taxis are available at the railway station.

Air

Another option is to fly to Pantnagar and then the drive from there is about 3.5 hours.
